Research
My current work is on superconducting quantum processors, starting with more reliable qubit readout. Before that, I built a trapped-ion optics setup, implemented cryptographic proof systems and worked on a hydrology paper. I also teach, including an open introduction to superconducting qubits.

Towards scalable superconducting quantum processors
At the end of a quantum computation, we still have to tell one qubit state from another. On CQT’s 20-qubit superconducting processor, I’m testing whether machine-learning methods can make that readout more reliable.
The work also takes me through error sources, gate fidelity, crosstalk, multi-qubit operations and the FPGA control stack. I’ll add results here when they are ready to share.
