Separatrix

Quantum-inspired optimisation everyone can check: simulated bifurcation races classical solvers and the exact optimum in your browser, with every number labelled measured, estimated or not run.

Separatrix is built around one rule: don’t trust the optimiser, check it. Simulated bifurcation, an algorithm inspired by quantum adiabatic evolution, races simulated annealing, parallel tempering and the exact optimum in your browser, on problems like Max-Cut, number partitioning and a portfolio that must hold exactly k of 39 crypto assets. Every number is labelled measured, estimated or not run, and the site makes no claim of quantum advantage.

The solver is a Rust crate, published on crates.io and compiled to WebAssembly for the browser. Around it: exports to dimod, D-Wave Ocean, Qiskit Optimization and CPLEX; a Dicke-state circuit builder with Qiskit, pytket, Cirq and OpenQASM output; two Anchor programs on Solana devnet; and a QAOA pipeline aimed at IBM’s Heron processors.

I built and maintain it alone.
